Lemon shark making a close pass at Tiger Beach, Bahamas. One of the most interesting interactions I had with lemon sharks at Tiger Beach was when I was swimming to the back of the boat to get out of the water. The closer I got to the boat, the sharks would block me from getting to the boat. Each of my attempts was met with two sharks that would cut me off. After they passed me, I’d make another attempt and two more sharks would cut me off. After the 4th or 5th try, I laughed and realized they were all intentionally trying to push me away, so I decided to listen to them and slowly drifted away from the boat. Little did I realize, the empty shark bait box was being hauled up from the bottom. After the box was pulled onboard, it was filled with fresh cut fish parts and thrown back into the water. Excited by the splash and of fresh fish blood clouding the water, all the sharks rushed the bait box and attacked it. Things got exciting for me when the sharks couldn’t get to the tasty fish secured inside, so with the bait box being lowered to the bottom, that’s when they decided to see if I had any fish. As they quickly approached, I had my first ever lesson of how to redirect sharks using my GoPro on a short stick. After two successful redirects, they calmed down and I was able to calmly swim back to get onto the boat.Lemon Sharks1440,770Price On Request

During a snorkel trip with friends in Big Cypress National Preserve, we found this beautiful 9 ft. alligator. Visibility was terrible with maybe 6 ft. - which kinda makes things a bit scary, but the gator was resting on the bottom in shallow water and was quite calm. I am very thankful to have had the opportunity to spend a little time with him and capture his portrait while sharing space in his dark underwater realm.American Alligator1440,756Price On Request

Channel clinging crab photographed at Indian Key, Florida Keys. The wave action was heavy making it very difficult to photograph this scene. In order to successfully create this image as a large panorama, I had to take several photographs of the crab in his environment and then take each of the images and carfeully blend them together in Photoshop during the post processing of this image. Lining up each image was a challenge since I had been fighting each incoming wave while handholding the camera. Obviously, a tripod would not have served me well in this tough shooting environment and I was very happy with the final image you see here.Channel Clinging Crab1440,565Price On Request
